PLACE OF THE TREATMENT
The data is processed at the headquarters of the Data Controller. Based on the provisions of art. 43 et seq. of Legislative Decree 196/2003, any treatment outside the European Union countries requires the express consent of the interested person.
PURPOUSE OF TREATMENT OF DATA
Personal data and navigation data collected automatically from the site or entered voluntarily by the User or by the interested party are collected for the purposes and by the methods indicated below. The data will be processed using tools and methods designed to ensure the confidentiality and security of data, in compliance with the provisions of Legislative Decree 196 of June 30, 2003 and in compliance with current legislation. The Data, mandatory and voluntary, provided by the Users, will be used by IET exclusively for the following purposes:
• respond to specific user information requests;
• manage the registrations;
• allow the owner of the site to defend, in court or in the stages leading to possible legal action, from abuses in the use of the same or the services committed by the User;
• evaluation and improvement of the site’s technical performance and improvement of the browsing experience for the user.
When necessary pursuant to Legislative Decree 196/2003, IET requires the consent of the user or interested party before proceeding to the processing of personal data.
The data collected is kept for a maximum period of 10 years.
TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED
Data required by the User
The computer systems and procedures used to operate the IET website collect, during their operation, some personal data relating to their users. This is personal data useful for the technical use of the site and to allow the user to use the services offered, and therefore their provision is not optional, but mandatory. They are information that allows the identification of the User or the interested party. This category of data includes name, surname, e-mail and fiscal code. These data are used only for the purposes afore indicated, and for the time necessary to perform the service requested by the User. The User has the right to request removal at any time for legitimate reasons. The data could be used to verify responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.
DATA PROVIDED VOLUNTARILY BY THE USER
The provision of sensitive personal data is optional and voluntary and requires the explicit consent of the User. In the event that the user uses the site to publish or share in any way the personal data of third parties, he assumes all responsibility. The owner is relieved of all responsibility for their instrumental treatment resulting from the communication or dissemination.
Both in the case of mandatory data and in the case of data provided on an optional basis, IET undertakes to guard and control such data in such a way as to reduce to a minimum, through appropriate security measures, the risks of destruction or loss, of non-access authorized or processing not allowed or not in accordance with the purposes for which they were collected.
RIGHTS OF INTERESTED PARTIES
In order to exercise the rights established by the art. 13 paragraph 2 of the GDPR UE / 2016/679 (access to personal data, rectification or cancellation of the data provided, limitation of the processing regarding the user, opposition to processing, right to data portability, the right to lodge a complaint with a control authority), the user or interested party may contact the data controller directly at the address indicated above.
