A few days ago we welcomed an international company to the Hills of Asolo, for an important team building that was as productive as it jovial! At the prestigious location of Progress Country Wine House, with the participation of Maurizio of Io Project Wine, we welcomed a group of 32 guests – managers, engineers, operatives – of a leading multinational informatics systems company. Welcomed to Asolo, we warmed up the atmosphere with a guided tour of the historic village, with a visit also to the exclusive Trame d’Asolo weaving mill, an excellence among the streets of the village, and concluded with a dutiful open at Asolo’s Caffè Centrale. 

Following this, guests took their seats at the imperial table set up and we began this blind tasting experience of the scents that nature offers us. When the sense of smell is urged to work independently, unexpected sensations and emotions arise! So it was for our guests, amid scents of licorice, musk, coffee, rosemary, and many other scents that paved the way for 4 wines from as many Italian wine areas: from the Cinque Terre, to Calabria, to our Progress Country Estate Recantina, to Alto Adige! It was an experience that certainly gave motion to the participants to create a team effort, and to appreciate everyone’s talents in recognizing the scents and conveying them in the paired wines. 

To conclude a pleasant convivial dinner, in the beautiful location of the Progress Tasting Room. A six-handed work, which saw the coordination of Asolando, anticipating also a moment of discovery of our hills, with Maurizio of IoProject and Alessandro of Progress Country! Because great ideas are best accomplished with a great team!
